John Mayer Concert Being Streamed Live Tonight

Singer/songwriter/tabloid staple, John Mayer is bringing his tour to Colorado tonight where he will be playing at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater.  Fans who won’t be at the venue can still see the concert live as it will be streamed right here starting at 10:45pm EST.

He’ll be releasing the Battle Studies Extended Edition CD/DVD on October 5th which features 6 songs from John’s VH1 Storytellers show as well as 2 acoustic performances from his recent trip to Japan.  You can pre-order right here.

Motion City Soundtrack Acoustic Performance

During a recent stop on the Vans Warped Tour, Motion City Soundtrack decided to maximize their time and broke out an acoustic performance for the passerbys.  Have a look and a listen to the song “Her Words Destroyed My Planet.”  You can find the produced version of the track on the band’s album My Dinosaur Life which came out in January.

Secondhand Serenade Acoustic Performance

Secondhand Serenade dropped his new album, Hear Me Now this week and as of this morning, it was sitting in the top 10 at iTunes where its been since Tuesday.  Well before heading out on his current headlining tour, John Vesely sat down with Shockhound to discuss his latest release which you can see above.  He also brought along his drummer (who co-produced the single “Something More” as well as 2 others on the album) and his guitar player for an acoustic performance of 4 songs, including his platinum selling smash, “Fall For You.”  Check that out below.

She & Him Announce Tour

John Mayer Does Katy Perry

Jason Mraz Announces Tour

Making his way to a number of festivals and special events, singer/songwriter Jason Mraz has routed a complete tour visiting a total of 20 markets across the U.S. and Canada.  Its all set to begin on September 11th and will continue through October 8th as he goes from coast to coast.  Below is a full look at the itinerary which includes a 2 night stint opening for the Dave Mathews Band in Chicago, their final shows on the road for a while.  Presales for the tour begin tomorrow (7/21).

The Dirty Heads Sign Label Deal

The California acoustic/rap/reggae act known as The Dirty Heads have reportedly signed a label deal with Eleven Seven Music.  The label’s roster also consists of Trapt, Motely Crue and Buckcherry.  The band recently played the KROQ Weenie Roast and have a number of upcoming dates scheduled with Sublime.  Their next gig is at the Avila Beach Bowl in San Luis Obispo this Saturday (6/20).  Click here to give the guys a listen.

Jack Johnson Touring For Charity

Laid back singer/songwriter Jack Johnson has announced a summer tour which will send the Hawaiian to 32 cities around the U.S. and Canada.  All proceeds from the run will go to charity through his All At Once social action network.  Tickets go on sale April 10th.

Johnson will be releasing his 5th studio album on June 1st called To The Sea.  The first single to come from the disc is “You And Your Heart” which impacts radio in April.
