Yesterday (9/3) was Friday, which means it was the day Kanye West gave out another free tune.  This time, it was the song “Devil In A New Dress.”  Check it out above, and while you’re listening, read all of the crazy tweets Kanye blasted out this morning (9/4).  We’re not sure what exactly is fueling the manic messaging, but dude talks about everything from his displeasure of the media, to his love for country music.  He even apologizes to Taylor Swift.  Something’s not right here.

B.o.B. released his newest video today, which is for the track “Magic” that’s currently be worked at radio.  The tune features Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo who as you are about to learn, is not the best dancer in the world… or even, the best hand waiver.  Dude looks a little uncomfortable in this video, a feeling we bet a lot of B.o.B.’s earlier fans are sharing right about now.  After establishing quite a bit of cred in the hip hop world, we’re not sure Bobby Ray is gonna get any love from the hood with this sugary single.

Not all shows this week went as well as the Eminem/Jay-Z one did.  Guns N’ Roses were scheduled to play in Ireland on Wednesday (9/1) but of course, Axl took his sweet time in taking the stage.  After making the crowd wait for an hour and a half, he finally decided to go on, only to be met with thunderous boos and bottles being thrown at him.  The singer quickly stopped the show, gave the crowd a warning and then walked off.  Check it out above as the side chatter that can be heard is priceless.  As for the the staff member who told the crowd they were dealing with “technical difficulties,” you didn’t fool anyone.  The entire arena saw what happened.

Last night, Eminem and Jay-Z kicked off their string of shows in Em’s hometown of Detroit.  Obviously Em had some tricks up his sleeve as he brought Drake out for the song “Forever.”  Have a look above as the crowd goes ballistic.

You had to figure Drake owed Marshall one since the roles were reversed last month in Toronto.  As for Jay, is it safe to say that he’s gonna bring out Alicia Keys in New York?  Just sayin’.

As you likely know by now if you’re one of our regular readers, Linkin Park is releasing their new album A Thousand Suns on September 14th.  Up until now, all we’ve heard from the album is the song “The Catalyst.”  But now the band is giving out the song “Wretches And Kings” for free to anyone who pre-orders the album at their official website.  You can also check it out now thanks to AOL right here.  Take a listen and let us know what you think.  Our thoughts?  We hope this is one of the weaker tracks on the album.

For months, it was being discussed whether or not Katy Perry would wind up breaking sales records with her new album, Teenage Dream.  Well it now looks like, that’s just not gonna happen.  Taking nothing away from her or Capitol who have managed to do a great job in building the artist, the album itself is actually being looked at as one that is under-performing, given all of the hype it had.  With 2 certified hits on the release in the chart topping “California Gurls” (which broke the record for radio spins in a week) and the album’s title track, early predictions had the album at roughly 300,000 in it’s first week.  The reality however, was that it sold 194,000.  That makes it the 9th biggest release of the year so far.  In it’s second week on sale, it looks like it will not only get bumped out of 1st place but will likely land at number 3 as the latest installment of the Now That’s What I Call Music series appears to have the advantage.  As for whether or not it will continue to decline or will be able to sell solid numbers each week ala Justin Bieber‘s My World 2.0, that remains to be seen.  As for the new chart topper, that will be hard rock act Disturbed who will see their 4th consecutive number 1 debut.

Mark Ronson and The Business Intl have a trackon their upcoming album called “The Bike Song.”  And as to be expected, the video showcases a large number of bikes.  Have a look at the retro-vibed clip above which also features Spank Rock and Kyle Falconer of View.  The song itself will be on Ronson’s album, Record Collection which hits stores on September 28th.

Kings of Leon will be releasing their next album Come Around Sundown on October 19th.  The first single however is set to impact radio on September 13th and will be on sale the following day.  The track is called “Radioactive” and will be given away for free to fans who pre-order the album on iTunes starting September 14th.  Both standard and deluxe versions of the album will be available.

Big Boi released his 5th video for the album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty.  The song “You Ain’t No DJ” is the one being featured this time around.  As you will see, Yelawolf is also on the track and shares plenty of camera time too.  Check it out above as the DJ seems to control the pace of the world.
