T.I. Being Sued

Although rapper T.I. is still locked up at a halfway house following his prison term, the MC still can’t seem to stay out of trouble.  This time, he is being sued… for copyright infringement.

Back in 2006, T.I. released a single called “What You Know” which was featured on the King album.  Well now, a rapper named Motoe Blizzid (don’t worry, we never heard of him either) is claiming that the track was originally his.  He says that T.I.’s version has the same “rate of harmonic range,” and “nearly identical instrumental melodic lines in terms of pitch, shape and rhythm.” 

Is this legit, or just a ploy to get paid and generate some press?  I guess only time will tell.
